How does Artelista ensure safety?
How do I pay my order?
Hello! My name is Ross. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, Italo-Venezuelan parents.
I currently live in Spain.
I am a psychologist by profession and a painter at heart. Like a good marriage, both will provide and nurture each other. In the end, the two wins.
Since (for reasons somewhat strange), I opened the door to the paint, I entered a new world full of challenges and exciting for me.
The painting has decorated my life with all colors and hues of the rainbow, with the beauty of light and richness of the shadows. With many faces filled with stories and counted and counted. With appreciation and affection by many people to whom I am very grateful.
I think the artist& 39;s own internal momentum operator, overwhelming and irrepressible that is both blessing and yoke. Behind many of my works which may give serenity and comfort, has been in the process, a struggle to get what I want. I finally calm, I conclude my work and the time to decide if I really like it or not. You are required to pass the test of time. Like most things in this life.
As Millet said:
"Art is a fight. In art it is necessary to play up the skin. I& 39;d rather not say anything before expressing weakly. "
Artistic creation is the result of inner work that is embodied in the production of something tangible and exterior and contains the impulse its creator. To create in others communicate feelings, desires and the soul of whoever did.
The wonderful well as Kandinsky said
"The artist must be blind to the ways recognized or unrecognized, deaf to the teachings and the wishes of his time. His eyes opened must look to his inner life and your ear to pay attention to the inner necessity "
Maintain the illusion to work even better and to express more authentically, by I will continue painting, seeking to look beyond the obvious.
Since the year 1996 and to date I have dedicated himself to painting, learning different artistic techniques and different approaches to drawing and painting.
In Venezuela, which is formally learned to draw and paint from the hand of Professor Luis Alvarez de Lugo, with whom I had the privilege of sharing many hours of learning and friendship, from 1996 until I came to Madrid in 2003.
Similarly, during that time, I attended the "Workshop of anatomical drawing human figure, with Erick Feely (2001). In that year, I learned a lot about creativity and the joy of painting with Onofre Frías, an artist well known in Venezuela.
In 2002, the Museum of Fine Arts in Caracas, Enrique Lazo, going into the topic of conceptual art and contemporary watercolor practiced with Renate Zunker and Erik Feely, experts in the field.
On arrival in Spain, in 2004 I entered the Fine Arts in Madrid, to continue practicing something I think is very important: life drawing the human figure. I also practiced drawing and painting in the Prado. There, Professor Jorge Pedraza, gave me valuable knowledge to develop my artistic expression.
From 2004 to 2009, In "Art3 (Boadilla del Monte), practiced different techniques of painting. Mainly delved into the subject of the portrait.
From 2009 to 2010, In "Art3" I worked as a painting for adults and children.
I performed various solo and group exhibitions in Venezuela.
In Madrid, I participated in an exhibition in the Palacio de Godoy, Villaviciosa de Odon.
Here is a poem by Rafael Alberti I love it because it says a lot of what I feel with this new life that began in Madrid:
"Today the clouds brought me,
flying the map of Spain.
How small the river
